Bands are used to secure the insulation and mechanical cladding over insulation. Austenitic stainless steels bands made of SS304 and SS316 is available as standard. Other grades such as GI, Aluminium are available subject to lead time and Minimum quantity requirements being met.
Stainless Steel Bands can be also used to hold acoustic insulation panels to the piping.
The most common sizes are 13 mm and 19 mm widths, and the standard thickness of the bands is 0.5 mm. The bands are also available in widths of 12.7 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 20 mm and 25 mm, and thicknesses of 0.4mm and 0.6mm. Other
sizes are available on request and minimum order quantity.
