Description
Hot dip galvanizing is a process of coating steel with a thin zinc layer, which serves as a barrier between the steel and the environment. The finish is applied by passing the steel through a molten bath of zinc at a high temperature. Galvanizing forms a metallurgical bond between the zinc and the underlying steel , creating a barrier that is part of the metal itself. Galvanized Steel Cladding is used as a jacketing for protecting the thermal insulation in Power, Oil and Gas and various Process Plants.
