Stainless Steel tying wire is often used to eliminate rust staining associated with Carbon Steel Wire encroaching into the concrete cover. The hot dip galvanization of wires imparts corrosion resistance on the wire. However heavy humid areas with high temperature
mandates use of SS wires.
Austenitic Stainless-Steel tying wire is produced from grade 304,316(L) and is available in a range of diameters to suit individual applications. Standard coil weight is 25kg. Wire is also available in GI grade, half kg coils and 25 kg coils
