Aluminized Steel – Type 1 generally comes with a 2 side Polyester coating which imparts the metal with extra corrosion resistance. The exposed side of the aluminized steel is offered with a minimum 17 microns (5 microns primer coat and 12 microns top coat) polyester coating on exterior and with a 5 micron PE coating at the back. Other choices of painting such as PVDF (has an excellent corrosion resistance) in various colours are available on request with a slightly longer lead time.
