Description
Polyurethane blockfoam (PUR) is made by mixing a polyol blend with an isocyanate. Adding a blowing agent to this mixture enables the foaming process. The mixing ratio defines the molecular structure as well as the cell structure of the blocks. This creates specific characteristics in respect of density, dimensional stability, foam structure, compressive strength, fire behavior and insulation value. PUR block foams have high insulation values and are available in densities of 32 kg/m3 up to 200 kg/m3
